Electric Ireland Named as Official Energy Sponsor of Irish Hotels Federation

Electric Ireland has been announced as Official Energy Sponsor of the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF).

The three-year sponsorship with the IHF, the national body of hotels and guesthouses, sees Ireland’s leading energy provider further enhance its commitment to the sector.

Electric Ireland has been a joint sponsor of the IHF Annual Conference for over ten years. This expanded remit to become Official Energy Sponsor will see Electric Ireland deepen its engagement with the Federation and its members. The sponsorship builds on the strong relationship developed between both organisations, and Electric Ireland’s experience in supporting businesses to navigate their energy and sustainability goals with confidence.

Electric Ireland currently works with more than  65,000 business customers nationwide.

Commenting on the sponsorship, Ieuan Green, Multi-Channel Sales Manager at Electric Ireland said: “At Electric Ireland, we are proud of our longstanding partnership with the Irish Hotels Federation. For many years, we have worked together to support the hotel sector and develop tailored, value driven energy solutions for businesses nationwide. We understand it is a rapidly transforming sector, with a strong focus on sustainability and customer experience.”

“As Ireland’s leading energy provider, we remain committed to delivering innovative, customer focused solutions, and we are delighted to be announced as the Official Energy Sponsor of the Irish Hotels Federation. We look forward to building on our existing relationships with this sponsorship, and working together to support a sustainable, future-focused vision for the sector.”

Michael Magner, IHF President said: “We are delighted to have Electric Ireland as energy sponsor of the Irish Hotels Federation. We look forward to working with them over the next three years to help hotels and guesthouses achieve their energy goals, both in terms of cost savings and environmental sustainability. This is a key priority for the over 900 businesses within our sector as they look to increase cost competitiveness, reduce carbon footprint and maximise opportunities to achieve growth and sustainable business development.”
