It’s busy week for the Iceland Roadshow crew who arrived in Dublin last night from their Edinburgh show before traveling to London tomorrow to attend another fully registered event there.
Lorraine Hales and Zoe Walsh – met with the organisers Alan Fairburn representing Nordic Travel Solutions and Martin Hannigan ATTS at the Iveagh Garden Hotel Dublin bright and early for the Workshops 8.30 start.
Lots of familiar faces were in attendance and it was great to see all arrive early and eager to learn more about the destination in focus .
Alan welcomed every one to the morning appreciating the efforts made by the Travel Trade Representatives with such an early start to the day. Visit Iceland’s Account Manager Hrafnhildur Pórisdottír took the stage and guided us through a presentation giving us a wonderful insight into the journey through Iceland.
Geothermal Baths with local bathing as part of the culture and tradition is becoming a very popular destination in the fastest growing wellness travel market.
Astro Tourism a rapidly growing travel segment, with the Northern Lights a main attraction with best time to view normally September – was also on the agenda. Much of the focus this year will be on the Rare Solar Eclipse due on the 12th August 2026 with Iceland offering exceptional Tours surrounding the whole Solar Eclipse Experience.
Immerse your senses when traveling and recognise how wonderful it is to be in the moment with the incredible scenery that surrounds you.
Looks Like you need Iceland!
