The ITTN team attended the 35th edition of the Holiday World Show Dublin, taking place from 23-25 January 2026 at the RDS Simmonscourt. The event welcomes over 1,000 travel professionals from more than 50 countries, and is Ireland’s largest platform for holiday inspiration and travel trade networking.
This morning, the ITTN team attended the exclusive Trade & Media morning, which ran from 9.30am to 12.30pm, engaging directly with both familiar faces and new exhibitors across a wide range of destinations, tour operators, cruise lines, and tourism boards.
While part of the team headed off to network, the rest of the team conducted a series of short interviews (available soon across ITTN’s social media platforms!) with Tom Randles, President of the Irish Travel Agents Association as well as representatives from Travelmarvel, Princess Cruises, Avalon Waterways, Riviera Travel, South African Tourism, Jamaica Tourism, and Portugal Tourism each offering fantastic insight into what’s ahead for 2026 and beyond. The key takeaway? It’s going to be a very busy and fruitful year ahead with plenty of new experiences, ships, destinations and connections.
The trade morning was genuinely enjoyable with lots of great chats, familiar faces, and a real sense of momentum building for the year ahead. But once the floodgates opened to the public at 12.30pm, the whole place just took off. Stalls were suddenly extra-packed with people eager to plan their next getaway, and it was clear the demand is very much there. It’s a brilliant sign for the industry, seeing that kind of buzz and energy right from day one.
Throughout the day, the ITTN team will remain on-site in meetings, continuing to gather insights from across the show floor!
