Lithuania Tourism Holds Special Presentation Evening Ahead of Holiday World Appearance

Lithuania Tourism is in town this week looking to win the hearts and minds of Irish holidaymakers.

As well as exhibiting, this weekend, at Holiday World Dublin, the visit to Dublin began with a meeting at the Lithuania Embassy, where there was a welcome by Ambassador Jonas GRINEVIČIUS and Minister Counsellor Renata Rinkauskienė.

Miriam Tuomey, International Services Manager at Dublin Chamber gave a presentation on the Irish market for the Lithuanian delegation.

Daniela Diržininkaitė presented on behalf of the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts so that Irish companies present could get an understanding of the Tourism market in Klaipeda and the work of their Chamber of Commerce.

Then the delegation each gave a short pitch of their company and offering.

Then there was some networking where the Irish companies and Lithuanian companies could talk to each other.

They are all available to meet more Irish companies at the Holiday world show stand H18 https://www.holidayworldshow.com/exhibitor/lithuania

From January 22-25, 2026, the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (Lithuania), in co-operation with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ireland and the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, is undertaking a tourism business mission to Dublin.

The mission has already brought together Lithuanian tourism businesses and Irish industry representatives, strengthening international co-operation and promoting Lithuania as an attractive travel destination.

A key highlight of the visit is participation in Ireland’s largest tourism exhibition, the Holiday World Show, where four Lithuanian companies – recreation and health complex in Palanga Atostogų parkas, sanatorium and hotel in Palanga Gradiali and two tour operators – Discover Lithuania and Travel Addicts Club – are presenting their services at a joint Lithuanian stand together with the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Ireland. In addition, the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts is representing two Chamber members, Hotel Rėja and National Golf Resort, ensuring their services and offerings are also introduced to the Irish market.

Lithuania’s tourism offering is increasingly recognised for its combination of nature, culture, wellness and active leisure experiences. Western Lithuania, particularly the Klaipėda region and the Lithuanian seaside, stands out as a diverse and accessible destination. Stretching over 90 kilometers along the Baltic Sea, the coastline offers sandy beaches, coastal resorts, historic towns and protected natural landscapes suitable for both short breaks and longer holidays.

The Klaipėda region is home to destinations such as the historic port city of Klaipėda, known for its charming old town and maritime heritage; Palanga, a lively seaside resort with modern wellness and SPA facilities; and the Curonian Spit, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its golden sand dunes, forests and cycling trails. The Curonian Spit has also been recognized by the European Film Academy as one of the Treasures of European Film Culture, highlighting its exceptional cultural and natural significance.

According to the Klaipėda Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, this business mission was organised to increase the visibility of Lithuanian tourism services in Ireland, foster new business connections and reinforce cooperation between the Lithuanian and Irish tourism sectors.
