Celebrity Cruises has unveiled a first-of-its-kind festival programme debuting exclusively aboard Celebrity Xcel, the newest ship in the brand’s Edge Series and home to The Bazaar – a brand new multi-level, multi-sensory space unlike anything else at sea.

Four new “Only in Europe” festivals will take over The Bazaar, each capturing the essence of Europe’s most iconic flavours, celebrations and summertime atmospheres – creating a sense of place even before guests reach each port:
Opa Festival – Greece
Joyful celebrations inspired by Greek island life, with coastal energy, upbeat music and moments made for friends and families. Raise a glass of ouzo to new friends and experience the true meaning of “Opa!” as The Bazaar transforms into a vibrant Greek village.
La Dolce Vita Festival – Italy
Relaxed al fresco vibes, sun-drenched social moments and long, leisurely dining. Follow the sounds of live guitar and savour the aroma of freshly baked focaccia as you discover a lively Italian piazza at sea.
Salud Festival – Spain
A vibrant Spanish-inspired fiesta with flavour-packed food, lively atmospheres and entertainment into the evening – complete with enough paella, sangria and Spanish guitar to encourage an extended night on the dance floor.
Silk & Spice Festival – Turkey & Morocco
A celebration of Turkish and Moroccan culture, featuring spices, teas, fresh dishes and atmospheric music and dance. Sample fragrant mint tea and Turkish delight before exploring a bustling marketplace where the colours, sounds, and dances of Turkey and Morocco come to life.
Newly launched in Fort Lauderdale this November, Celebrity Xcel is the fifth ship in the Edge Series and introduces seven all-new venues, from The Bazaar and Bora to an expanded spa offering. With the largest entertainment cast in the fleet and exciting guest-curated elements developed through Xcel Dream Makers, she begins her first European season in Summer 2026, as part of Celebrity’s largest European line-up yet.
