Dalata Hotel Group has announced that its Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley property has marked its 20th anniversary by unveiling a “stunning” transformation of its bar and restaurant, “redefining comfort, connection and contemporary Irish design“.

The newly redesigned spaces blend rich teal and ocean blue tones with natural wood accents and soft ambient lighting, creating a refined yet relaxed atmosphere for both business and leisure travellers.
“This new chapter captures everything Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley stands for: contemporary design, genuine warmth, and a distinctly Irish sense of welcome,” said Adrian Foy, General Manager.
“It’s a space designed for connection, where locals, travellers, and colleagues can unwind, celebrate, or simply enjoy a quiet moment together, because at Clayton, it’s personal.”

To mark the milestone, staff came together for a special dinner celebrating eight remarkable team members who have been part of the hotel’s journey since day one.
Honoured for their dedication and contribution were: Sharon Loughran, Zhang Hau, Li Li, Ina Borisova, Derek Fitzgerald, U Kan Maung, Gloria Senior, and Bernadette Hope — many of whom recall visiting the site in hard hats before the first guests ever checked in.
“Their loyalty, passion, and commitment over two decades have shaped not just the hotel, but the culture and warmth we’re known for,” said Colm Dever, HR Manager.
“They are the foundation of our success and a true reflection of what it means to be at the heart of hospitality, and for us, that’s where it’s personal.”
Over the years, Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley has welcomed everything from rugby and GAA teams to internationally renowned performers appearing at nearby venues including the 3Arena and Malahide Castle. Known for its discretion, convenience, and heartfelt service, it has also played a central role in hosting business conferences, gala dinners, and community events, connecting people from Dublin and beyond.
With a refreshed look that combines sustainability, design innovation, and the warmth of personal service, Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley is stepping confidently into its next chapter, ready to welcome guests with style.
“From hard hats to hospitality, this milestone is about people, pride, and progress,” added Adrian Foy.
“As we celebrate two decades of heartfelt service, we’re looking ahead to the next 20, continuing to evolve while staying true to the values that define Clayton Hotels: genuine connection, lasting comfort, and experiences where it’s personal.”
