Avalon Waterways continues to invest in Ireland with a brand-new website and continued extensive presence and activity within the market through the travel trade.
The website – www.avalonwaterways.ie – features details of the extensive range of iconic itineraries and authentic experiences available on Avalon’s award-winning Suite Ships. Plus, the site details all pricing including the flight-inclusive cruises available from Avalon from only 2,399 Euros per person*.

Within Ireland Avalon Waterways continues to outsell all targets as commented by Lesley Taylor, UK and Ireland MD for Avalon Waterways, “We are so pleased with the popularity and growth of Avalon Waterways within the Irish market and are hugely grateful to the work of Alan and his team at ASM Ireland and all of our Irish travel agent partners as we’ve only been selling through the travel trade. Our new website should help agents even more in selling our river cruises and achieving that all important commission. We look forward to further continued success with our travel agent partners.”

Managing Director of ASM Ireland, Alan Sparling added: “We know the quality and outstanding range of ships and itineraries of Avalon Waterways would be popular within our market and we weren’t mistaken. River cruising continues to be of huge interest, and we are excited to have this new website to accompany our ongoing activities including trainings, incentives and fam trips. Watch this space for a new travel agent incentive coming VERY soon.”

Avalon is renowned for great customer service and for the views offered onboard. No other fleet of river cruise ships feature the award-winning Avalon Panorama Suites (SM) which are thirty percent larger than the industry standard and offer river cruising’s only Open-Air Balcony. Avalon cabins are set up so the beds are facing outwards meaning guests can enjoy the floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows day and night and wake up to a new view every morning.

Additionally, Avalon Waterways’ River cruises feature many inclusions as standard, including full-board dining, complimentary regional wine or beer at mealtimes, as well as soft drinks, daily ‘happy hour’, which includes complimentary drinks, plus included excursions and gratuities. On-board dining options include the main dining rooms which offer four course sit-down meals designed exclusively by the Head Chef but with flexible mealtimes; a more informal dining room for snacks and light bites, plus the Sky Grill located at top of the ship which is a fantastic setting for outdoor barbecues.
