Spring Hotels has celebrated the successful hosting of the recent second edition of The Blue Challenge, an annual open-water swimming event organised by the Tenerife-based hotel group.
Swimming enthusiasts from all over Tenerife took to the Atlantic Ocean on Sunday, November 9, as the The Blue Challenge sporting event returned for its second edition.
The Blue Challenge is an open-water swimming event in southern Tenerife, created and organised by Spring Hotels as part of its active-lifestyle programme, Spring in Motion. Designed to highlight the island’s deep connection to the sea, the event brings together swimmers of all levels to compete along the coastline between Los Cristianos and El Palm-Mar, an area known for calm waters and striking volcanic scenery.
Travel agents, suppliers and staff all took part. Renowned open-water swimmer David Meca is an honorary patron.
