Meet Boston Hosts Intimate Dinner for Senior Trade & Media in Hawksmoor in Dublin

Tony Lane (Woodstock Communications) and the team from Meet Boston hosted a dinner in Hawksmoor on College Green on Wednesday, 12th November. The intimate cocktail reception and dinner for key trade and media partners provided an opportunity to get an insightful update on Boston and experience one of Dublin’s finest steakhouses. The evening involves a stunning tasting menu of sharing dishes, with sensational Irish beef the star of the show. 

Boston Frostival

The new offering from the city in Massachusetts is the Boston Frostival – a winter festival with everything from drone shows, ice-skating rinks, a ski Lodge at Copley Square, art fairs, wine festivals, and even an illuminated Ferris wheel, plus plenty for the kids too.

The Boston Frostival has holiday-themed drone shows lighting up Boston Common (November 29-December 20, 2025), a Ferris wheel on the Rose Kennedy Greenway (February 2-28, 2026), an immersive lodge in Copley Square (February 6-28, 2026), a wine festival spotlighting women-owned wineries, and so much more! Add iconic events like Snowport, the Wasabi Fenway BowlFirst Night Boston, and Dine Out Boston, and it’s safe to say that winter is one of the city’s most exciting seasons for Boston.

Summer in Boston Packed with Soccer, Sailing & Historic America 250 Commemorations

From June 13 to July 9, 2026, Boston will host seven matches for the FIFA World Cup 2026, consisting of five group stage matches, one elimination round and a quarter-final match on July 9th. Just a few days later, the largest maritime celebration ever to visit the United States will see tall ships from around the globe sail into Boston Harbour for Sail Boston, which runs from July 11–16, 2026.

In addition, Historic America 250 commemorations are happening at the same time. And, there’s no better place to honour that history than Boston—the birthplace of the American Revolution. From reenactments to citywide celebrations, Massachusetts will be alive with events commemorating this historic milestone throughout 2026.

After working up an appetite, dine in style in Boston. The city has joined the Michelin Guide Northeast Cities Edition, which covers Philadelphia, New York, Washington DC, Chicago and now Boston.

Connectivity to Boston

Three airlines offer direct services from Dublin to Boston, namely Aer Lingus, JetBlue and Delta.

Aer Lingus had 235,000 two-way seats in 2025, with Delta and JetBlue having 125,000 and 50,000, respectively. Looking forward, Dublin has a twice-daily year-round service and, new for summer 2026, the airline will increase its services to thrice daily between April and August. In addition, Aer Lingus has a daily direct service from Shannon Airport.

JetBlue will have a daily summer seasonal service from Dublin operating from April to October. In addition, Delta will have a daily service from Dublin in 2026 (excluding early January to late February).
