Celebrity Cruises Sprinkles its Magic Over the Irish Travel Trade at Glamorous Appreciation Dinner in Dublin

Celebrity Cruises sprinkled its magic on the Irish Travel Trade last night at a glamorous appreciation dinner in Fire Restaurant on Dublin’s Dawson Street.

The evening was hosted by Claire Stirrup, MD Celebrity Cruises; Nicola McNeish, Sales Director UK and Ireland; Charlotte Hallam, Head of Sales UK and Ireland; Micheal Young-Richards, Strategic Account Manager UK – and our very own pocket rocket Valerie Murphy, Strategic Account Manager Ireland.

We were guided through informal, wonderful conversations and a 4 course culinary meal fitting for the Celebrity brand.

ITTN’s Sharon Jordan caught up with the team in advance to ask them a few questions about their plans on both Ocean and River for 2026 and beyond.

ITAA President Tom Randles spoke on behalf of the guests and complimented Celebrity’s commitment to the Irish Trade. The evening finished with a commitment to the trade reaffirming their support as a trade supplier.

ITTN’s Katie Doyle will be joining the naming ceremony of Celbrity Xcel, Where Jani Torres will christen the ship on Sunday, November 16 in Fort Lauderdale as the ship sets sail on a 5-night maiden voyage to Bimini, Bahamas and Cozumel, Mexico; before offering guests the opportunity to explore the picturesque islands of the eastern and western Caribbean on alternating seven-nightitineraries.

Celebrity Xcel will then set sail across the Atlantic in April 2026 to begin her inaugural season in Europe, offering one-of-a-kind seven-to-11-night sailings from Athens and Barcelona.
