Polar expedition cruise specialist, Quark Expeditions has announced the opening of bookings for its Arctic 2027 and Antarctic 2027/28 voyages earlier than any time in its company history.
This early launch decision reflects a strong demand and underscores the company’s growth and continued strength in polar-only travel. Once again charting new territory with refreshed itineraries for these seasons, the expedition company reinforces its polar expertise and commitment to providing guests with unmatched off-ship access.

“From a voyage into the Weddell Sea, to added Science and Discovery programming and culinary experiences, these seasons deepen what Quark does best: authentic, expertly guided polar exploration,” said Catherine Lawton, Senior Director of Product Development.

The Arctic 2027 and Antarctic 2027/2028 season introduces a range of new immersive voyages and experiences:
- Antarctic Peninsula, A Rare Exploration of the Weddell Sea: Journey deep into one of Antarctica’s most storied and rarely visited expanses.
- Falkland Island and South Georgia, 20-day Wildlife Adventure: Rich in wildlife and epic landscapes, spend time in this seldom visited and difficult to reach region.
- Scotland to Spitsbergen, Puffins, Sea Ice and Wildlife: A wildlife lover’s dream, featuring iconic animals like the Puffin and Polar Bear, exploring a snow-covered tundra and glaciers.
- West Greenland, Discovering Massive Icebergs and Inuit Communities: Exploring the fjords where some of the biggest icebergs in the Northern Hemisphere are created.
- West Greenland, Exploring the Far North: Go farther North on the west coast of Greenland than any other itinerary offered by Quark, visiting the remote Qanaaq and Upernavik communities.
- Tundra to Table: Iceland, a culinary journey inspired by Arctic traditions
- Expanded Science and Discovery program onboard Ultramarine
To celebrate the announcement Quark Expeditions is also offering an early booking bonus for select departures for a limited time until December 31st, guests can save up to $2,000 + 10%.
“Launching earlier lets our guests and trade partners plan with confidence and a broader selection,” added Lawton. “Guests benefit from the most experienced polar expedition team in the industry and unparalleled access for authentic, personal polar experiences.”
Returning favorites from Svalbard in Spring: Sea, Ice, Pristine Snow and Wildlife, to the iconic Spitsbergen Circumnavigation: A Rite of Passage, and Discovering the 7th Continent, continue to give guests endless ways to connect with the polar regions. Both seasons are available on Quark Expeditions diverse fleet of small, polar built ships: Ultramarine, Ocean Explorer and World Voyager.
