ITTN’s Julia Labedz attended an evening of creativity at Expedia TAAP’s “Drink & Draw” night, held on 18 September at The Gen Bar in Smithfield. The event brought together travel professionals for a relaxed night of painting, conversation, and refreshments, hosted by Martin Hannigan of Expedia TAAP, alongside Samir Sayed and Catherine Whyte of ATTS.

The main activity of the night invited guests to paint Dublin’s iconic Poolbeg Chimneys at sunset, with artistic guidance provided by Roberta Angelucci. Roberta kept the atmosphere lively and upbeat throughout the evening, keeping the rhythm of the night going with a series of spontaneous, party-style competitions. Among the highlights was a quick-fire prize challenge for the first person to shout “It’s Britney, bitch!” when a Britney Spears song played.
The venue had a well-stocked picky bites section full of hot food, while the hosts ensured guests were well looked after throughout the night. No glass was left empty while the Agents let their creativity run wild!

Special recognition was given during the event: Shane Coburn from Donabate Travel was awarded “Best Painting of the Night,” while we were lucky to have been recognised for the most creative rendition of the ITTN logo, painted within the duration of a single song.

ITTN extends a sincere thank-you to Expedia TAAP, Martin Hannigan, and the team at ATTS, Samir Sayed and Catherine Whyte, for a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
