City guide publishing company Time Out has announced the expansion of its Time Out Market concept to Budapest, with it set to open in the Hungarian capital later this month on September 20.

Time Out Market acts as an indoor food market concept – solely illustrating the food culture of the city in which it is located. Other Time Out Markets currently exist in New York, Boston, Chicago, Montreal, Dubai, Porto, Cape Town, Lisbon, Bahrain, Osaka and Barcelona.
The new Budapest location will be at Corvin Palace, the beautifully restored 1926 neoclassical landmark on Blaha Lujza Square. Spanning some 27,000 sq ft indoors and 7,500 sq ft rooftop, it houses 11 kitchens, three bars, five event spaces, and seating for 540 guests.
