MASTA (Medical Advisory Service for Travellers Abroad), a leading UK travel health provider with over 40 years’ experience and a network of over 125 clinics and pharmacies, has officially launched in Ireland. Unveiling bold plans to open up to 100 clinic locations nationwide over 18 months, the first flagship clinic opened on the 18th of August and is located in Beacon South Quarter, Sandyford, Dublin. The expansion aims to make expert travel health services more accessible and affordable for individuals, families, and corporate travellers across the country.
Key to the rollout, MASTA is developing a network of clinics with a further 11 sites being rolled out in late August 2025.
MASTA is led by Andrew Lewis, former CEO of the Tropical Medical Bureau (TMB), who brings over 18 years of experience in the travel health sector in Ireland and the UK. He is joined by O.Labs, a leader in healthcare education and technology, supporting operational rollout and strategic growth.
With the support of innovative technology, our goal is to build Ireland’s most accessible travel health network, with up to 100 MASTA locations offering high-quality, affordable care wherever people live and work. Whether travelling for business, leisure, study or humanitarian work, we believe travel health should be within easy reach.
Each clinic will offer a comprehensive range of services, including personalised travel consultations, vaccinations, antimalarial medications, and travel health kits. Services are designed to support individuals, families, and corporate clients alike.
MASTA is currently onboarding clinic partners and healthcare professionals across Ireland, providing training via the MASTA Academy platform. The first phase of 11 sites will be operational in September and further openings scheduled throughout 2025 and 2026.
