Ryanair has been ranked most sustainable large airline in the world in latest airline emissions rankings.
The list – by aviation analytics company Cirium – ranks Hungary’s Wizz Air as the overall most emissions-efficient airline, with Ryanair ranked 20th.
However, in terms of large airlines – those with a very extensive and wide-reaching route network – Ryanair tops the poll, above the likes of long haul operators like American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Turkish Airlines, Qatar Airways, and Emirates.
