Dublin Airport explains, “Drop & Go Parking at Dublin Airport is the fastest, most effortless way to park before your flight. Located on Level 2 of Terminal 1’s Car Park C and Level 3 of Terminal 2’s Short Term Car Park, this premium valet-style service lets you drop off your keys and head straight to departures. No parking stress, just check in, take off, and the team at Dublin Airport will handle the rest.”
ITTN’s Shane Cullen tried it out; here’s his verdict.

Drop & Go – Tried & Tested
Firstly, pre-book the “Drop & Go” parking in the same way you would book any of Dublin Airport’s car parks. It worked out only a few euros more than the Red Car Park over Easter at a cost of €125 for 10 days. It is cheaper than the short-term car parks but pricier than the long-term options.
Travelling with my wife and three kids, I welcomed anything that would help streamline the process to Departures. We drove into Terminal 2’s short-term car park, the barrier raised to let us through, and we went through a scanner. This is to check for any existing damage to the car. There are designated parking spots for Drop & Go on Level 3 of the car park (where the executive parking used to be). We got out, gathered our suitcases and handed our keys to the friendly valets waiting at the doors to the terminal (just before the lifts/car hire kiosks). I was handed a receipt, and off we went on our holiday. Drop-off was easy-peasy.
We returned just over a week later, scanned the (slightly mangled*) receipt and got our keys with a code for our parking space – each parking space is numbered, and there is a map to show you the location. Our car was a few meters away, and off we went on our merry way. Pick-up was equally hassle-free and convenient.
It is easy, there is plenty of help even though the process was fairly fool-proof. As a tip, take a photo of the receipt in case you lose it (I found mine rolled up in a ball at the bottom of a jacket pocket). Also, I had made the booking early, changed cars and had to update the details which was also easy and stress-free. Five stars to Dublin Airport for this service.
