Visit USA Committee Ireland undertook its first ever roadshow to Limerick and Cork last week. Lunch at No 1 Pery Square in Limerick on Tuesday was followed on Wednesday by lunch at Hayfield Manor in Cork. Sponsors included Ivan Beacom, Aer Lingus; Andrea Sims, Visit California; Paul Manning and Shauna Mullery, Hertz; Lee Osborne, BookaBed; Matt Bates, Kansas & Oklahoma; and Claire Doherty, Sunway.
There were 24 attendees in Limerick and 25 in Cork, mostly owners, managers and senior travel agency staff. Both lunches were a great success with the main focus being on driving business to the USA in 2014.
Clodagh Oxley and Ciara Foley of Visit USA were delighted to be able to facilitate these events and look forward to organising further roadshows in the future.
