Norse Atlantic Airways Expands London Gatwick to Cape Town Route

Norse Atlantic Airways is delighted to announce the expansion of flight frequencies on its London Gatwick to Cape Town route. As demand rises, Norse is responding with increased services to accommodate leisure and business travellers alike.

Norse have both extended the season they operate to 8 months as well as adding additional weekly capacity, the first flight of the new season departing London Gatwick on 2nd October 2025 and the last flight returning from Cape Town on 31st May 2026.

“Following the success of our inaugural season we see great opportunity in the South African market,” said Bård Nordhagen, Chief Commercial Officer at Norse Atlantic Airways. “By expanding the services we operate we wish to show to the trade and consumer markets we are committed to the route and are here to stay.” 

Norse will now offer up to 6 weekly flights. This strategic increase will provide passengers with greater flexibility and improved connectivity while maintaining Norse’s hallmark affordability.

All flights will be operated using Norse’s modern fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliners, offering passengers a comfortable onboard experience with a choice between Economy and Norse Premium cabins. Tickets are available to book now through all major Global Distribution Systems (GDS) — making it easy for travel agents and partners worldwide to access Norse’s expanded offering.
