InteleTravel is further strengthening its senior team with the appointment of Kelly Cookes to the newly created position of commercial director.
Ms Cookes is currently chief commercial officer at Advantage Travel and will join InteleTravel on September 1st, based at the Canary Wharf head office and reporting to UK and Ireland managing director Tricia Handley-Hughes.
Ms Cookes will have responsibility for optimising all commercial activity and partner engagement, supported by the marketing communications team. She has vast experience in the industry, having held senior roles at Thomas Cook and Freedom Travel, as well as Advantage.
Ms Handley-Hughes said: “I am excited for this new role as it will further boost our growth strategy. Kelly brings diverse experience to the business as we review our distribution channels and continue our revenue-driven success.”
Ms Cookes’ appointment follows another record-breaking year for InteleTravel, with revenues up 69% in the year to the end of April 2025, compared with the previous 12 months.
