Ryanair has confirmed that it has no plans to introduce so-called “standing seats” on board its planes as a cheaper ticket option.
News network Euronews quoted the airline as saying the idea is “not part of the official line-up” of new Ryanair products coming down the line.

The rumour came from an online post claiming the airline was looking to introduce such seats – which would have the passenger leaning on in a half seating/half standing position – in the future.
