Holiday Experts, the homeworking division within Best4Travel, held their annual Conference in The Westbury Hotel on Tuesday 6 May, and ITTN’s Carrie Day was invited to join the community of homeworkers for the day. Owned and led by Managing Director Jeff Collins, Best4Travel and Holiday Experts have built a dynamic and resilient partnership, combining scale with personal service. At the heart of Holiday Experts’ success is a deep commitment to delivering top-tier customer experiences from start to finish—a philosophy that remains central to the company’s growth.

The conference was attended by Holiday Experts who were treated to presentations by sponsors Accident & General and The Travel Corporation throughout the day, as well as a short overview of the ITAA and the ITAA Benevolent Fund by CEO Clare Dunne. The conference offered the Holiday Experts the opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and form stronger relationships within this small but mighty community of homeworkers who come from all corners of the travel industry, as well as some agents who are new to travel. The energy was palpable in the conference room as chatter filled the air during the buffet lunch, sponsored by Accident & General.

During the conference, Ciara Foley was announced as the new Product & Business Development Manager for the Best4Travel Group and will oversee the Holiday Experts Department and development. Ciara brings over 30 years of experience in the travel sector, with particular expertise in luxury travel, tailor-made worldwide holidays, corporate travel, and as a specialist in USA holidays. Her wealth of knowledge and passion for personalised service aligns perfectly with the values of both Holiday Experts and Best4Travel.

Joining the Best4Travel management team alongside Managing Director Jeff Collins, Ciara will focus on advancing the group’s product strategy, strengthening supplier partnerships, elevating marketing efforts, and supporting the growth of both the Best4Travel retail shops and individual travel businesses within Holiday Experts. Jeff emphasised that as Holiday Experts grow in numbers, so too does the investment in technology and support from head office.
Pre-dinner drinks were held in the stunning Sidecar Bar at the Westbury, followed by a delicious dinner in Balfes, sponsored by TTC Ireland. It’s onwards and upwards for Holiday Experts and Best4Travel in 2025 and beyond! Thank you to Jeff and Ciara for inviting ITTN along to report on the conference and to all the wonderful Holiday Experts for their warmth and hospitality.
