Michael English, Celebrity Cruises Head of Sales UK & Ireland, was joined by Keith Duffy, Ronan’s former Boyzone band member, and Ollie Smith, the former British and Irish rugby lion, to host two Celebrity Cruises teams in the tournament. They were joined by Lee Cox of John Cassidy Travel, Philip Airey from Sunway Travel, American Holiday’s Mark O’Reilly, and Steve Aston of Clubworld Travel, who had scored a hole-in-one in an agent incentive to win a place on the team.

Celebrity Cruises also supplied a cruise onboard the Celebrity Equinox for the fundraising auction during the dinner. Clubworld Travel’s Delia Aston outbid celebrity guests including Ronan Keating, retired footballer Ian Wright, Mike Tindall, Kilkenny golfer Gary Murphy, retired Irish and Liverpool footballer Ronnie Whelan, Brian Ormond, Brian McFadden, golfing commentator Shane O’Donaghue, Laurence Kinlan, Graeme Storm, Pat Jennings, Mick Kinnane, Eric Miller, Ollie Phillips, Don Givens, Barry Murphy, Justin Morris, Paddy Cole, Charlie Swan and singer Bressie (who successfully bid for an Azamara Club Cruises prize trip for his parent’s at the previous year’s event), to win the Celebrity Equinox cruise.

Celebrity Cruises has a long-standing association with the fight against breast cancer and has worked to help the cause by honouring high-profile survivors as Godmothers for its Solstice-class ships.
