
Brass Tacks Media has announced the appointment of David Venables as Managing Director. Bringing a wealth of experience in public relations and destination marketing, Venables will lead the agency in delivering innovative PR, social media, and content marketing strategies across the travel, lifestyle, and technology sectors in both the UK and internationally.

Brass Tacks Media, in partnership with its sister firm The Abbi Agency, currently represents a prestigious roster of clients, including New Mexico True, Aramark Destinations and Edgewood Tahoe Resort. The agency specialises in leveraging local insights and global expertise to craft high-impact campaigns that connect brands with their target audiences.
Venables joins Brass Tacks Media following a successful tenure at Travel and Tourism Marketing Ltd, where he led PR strategies for high-profile clients, including the Louisiana Office of Tourism, Tennessee Department of Tourist Development, and Deep South USA. His work has encompassed a range of high-impact campaigns, including the development of the Louisiana Hot Sauce Trail, a creative culinary initiative launched in conjunction with Louisiana’s Hot Sauce activation at London Waterloo Station (2023) and the London Jazz Festival sponsorship (2024), which featured appearances on GB News by members of the Grammy Award-winning Dirty Dozen Brass Band and a New Orleans-themed takeover of the Clore Ballroom at the Southbank Centre.
