International hotel group Cycas Hospitality has appointed Philip Steiner chief operating officer of its operations across the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Portugal.
Mr Steiner joins Cycas from being general manager of the Bankside Hotel in London, which is part of Marriott’s Autograph Collection.
Cycas expanded into the Irish market last April, through it taking over the contract to manage Dublin’s 120-bedroom Ormond Hotel.
