IHF Mourne Boyne Lakes Branch names Emma Reilly ‘Employee of the Year’

Emma Reilly, Sales Co-Ordinator at Castle Leslie Estate, has been announced as the 2024/2025 Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) Mourne Boyne Lakes Branch ‘Employee of the Year’.

The announcement was made at an awards lunch in the Headfort Arms Hotel, where guests gathered to celebrate and recognise eight nominees from hotels and guesthouses across counties Cavan, Louth, Meath and Monaghan who have made an outstanding contribution to their workplace.

Congratulating Emma on the award IHF branch representative John O’Neill said that, when selecting her as the winner, the judges highlighted Emma’s dedication to sales, problem-solving abilities and skills at anticipating and understanding customer needs.

Emma Reilly began working as a Food and Beverage Assistant before moving into the role as receptionist at The Glencarn Hotel. Following a period in America, she returned to hospitality as Sales Co-Ordinator at Castle Leslie Estate, where she has worked for the last two years. Colleagues say that “she not only uplifts their spirits, but also contributes to a positive workplace culture.”
