TBO Bookabed & Universal Resorts Thank Irish Travel Trade at Christmas Lunch in Dublin Woollen Mills

Beverleigh Hart, Commercial Director UK and Ireland, opened the speeches and thanked the almost 40 guests from across Ireland for joining them in the Woollen Mills in Dublin today to celebrate all things TBO Bookabed and Universal Resorts.

Beverleigh thanked her team for their hard work across the year naming Colleen, Liz, Elaine, Jade and – of course – Lee Osborne for their support.

At this point, Lee took the microphone and thanked the trade with an acknowledgement of a challenging but successful year. He also commended Bev for stepping into the role of Commercial Director for the UK, keeping the team integrated with larger operations.

Lee also gave assurance of strong financial security for the company. He finished on a note with a tribute to friends in the industry who couldn’t be here today and remembering industry friends lost over the past years, specifically Helena Crowley.

Lee then passed the microphone to Grant Daley (senior business development manager EMEA at Universal Parks & Resorts) who opened with a thanks to TBO Bookabed for their continued collaboration.

He spoke about Future Developments including:

– A new park at Epic Universe.

– Mention of past significant openings such as “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter” and “Volcano Bay”.

– Highlighting the first major theme park opening in Orlando since 1999.

## Hotel Expansion

– Three new hotels to be opened, adding to the quadrupled hotel stock since 2016.

– Appreciation for the support and success in the hotel sector.

The lunch ended with Bookabed and Univeral Parks thanking all the attendees and wishing them the best for Christmas.
