Cork Airport management has welcomed Ryanair’s announcement of a new four times weekly service from Cork to East Midlands, beginning in October, as part of the airline’s new winter schedule for 2013/2014. 
Niall MacCarthy, Airport Director, Cork Airport, said: “Cork Airport is delighted to welcome this new route to East Midlands with Ryanair. This is an opportunity to expand inbound tourism to the Munster region and also offers another gateway serving the city regions of Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.”
