Luxury Maldives Carrier beOnd Airlines Marks 1st Anniversary with Firm Expansion Goals

Luxury Maldives carrier beOnd Airlines has officially marked its first year in business with the announcement of numerous expansion goals.

The carrier – which casts itself as a premium leisure travel airline – currently flies from Maldives to Milan, Munich, Zurich, and Riyadh; and from Dubai to Malé, (the capital of the Maldives) and between Zurich and Dubai.

In 2025, beOnd is looking at adding five more origin cities to its route network and has plans for a second operating certificate from the Middle East.

In its first year in the skies, beOnd carried more than 8,000 passengers.

“This is only the beginning of beOnd, and we are proud of our track record to date,” said Tero Taskila, CEO of beOnd. “Our goal this year has been to exceed every expectation of our customers from the moment they book with us until they arrive in the Maldives, and we have achieved that. We are focused on growth in the market and ensuring the trust of our customers and partners as we do so.”
