TUI Announces New Cork-Dalaman Route for Summer 2025

Holiday giant TUI has announced a new Cork to Dalaman route, which will form part of its summer 2025 route network.

TUI said it will operate the brand-new direct route from Cork Airport to Dalaman, Turkey for a 4-week rotation.

The first of four weekly flights will commence on June 23, 2025, offering customers from across Munster and South Leinster an opportunity to explore a range of exciting Turkish resorts directly from Cork Airport.

This new offering is now open for booking, allowing customers to plan their holiday for Summer 2025. The last outbound flight will depart from Cork Airport on July 14, 2025. This will be the first time that TUI will offer flights from Cork to Turkey, with an expected flight duration of 4 hours and 35 minutes.

Irish holidaymakers flying into Dalaman, located on Turkey’s south-west coast, will have the opportunity to discover stunning resorts including Marmaris, Olu Deniz, Fethiye, Icmeler and Sarigerme.

Known as the Turquoise Coast, the Dalaman area’s shoreline is a chain of coves, bays and long stretches of sand, and is home to a range of popular resorts. Icmeler and Olu Deniz are much-loved beach resorts with shorelines dotted by bars, restaurants, shops and more. Sarigerme, an upcoming favourite for many in the Turkish tourism market, is the proud home of a gorgeous 12-kilometre beach.

Holidaymakers can explore stunning resorts in a range of hotels that cater to every preference: Holiday Village, focused on fun for the whole family; TUI Splashworld, the centre of waterpark and family fun; TUI Blue, tailor-made holidays with a focus on fitness, food, and wellness; TUI Magic Life, the ultimate all-inclusive experience; TUI Suneo, hotels offering great value and an even better getaway; and Sensatori by TUI Blue, resorts that are premium by design.

Speaking about the exciting addition of Dalaman to its Summer 2025 programme, Craig Morgan, Head of Ireland for TUI, said: “We are excited to expand our Summer 2025 program from Cork Airport to include direct flights to Dalaman, Turkey. This new route will open an exciting range of Turkish resorts and unique holiday experiences for holidaymakers from the South of Ireland next Summer.

“This announcement showcases TUI’s ongoing commitment to providing Irish holidaymakers with access to a fantastic range of holiday destinations direct from Cork. Dalaman is the latest addition to our exciting choice of destinations for Summer 2025, also including Corfu, the Canary Islands and Spain and Portugal.”

Tara Finn, Head of Aviation Business Development & Communications at Cork Airport added: “The addition of Dalaman to our route network for next summer is tremendous news. This route is an excellent introduction to assess the demand for Turkey from Cork. Should it prove successful and I’m sure it will, I expect a longer programme in 2026. I encourage consumers across Munster to book early to secure their holiday and to book car parking at the same time.

“Cork Airport has fostered a great working relationship with TUI, who provide direct services to some fantastic holiday destinations like Reus, Palma de Mallorca, Lanzarote – and their most recent addition, Corfu. Cork Airport is proud to be the only airport Munster offering direct services to Turkey for Summer 2025.”
