And this surprisingly diverse destination has lots on offer, whether you want the signature glitz and glamour that Las Vegas is famous for or want to veer off the beaten track for an outdoorsy adventure.

Excitement on the Strip

Known as the Sports and Entertainment Capital of the World, Las Vegas has a cornucopia of attractions to enjoy.

Catch legendary musicians in long-standing residencies. See mesmerising shows by world-famous performers, including Cirque du Soleil. Or if sports is more your thing, catch one of the many electrifying annual events, including the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix.

You can also find luxurious hotel spas, spectacular Michelin-starred restaurants and so many more ways to treat yourself on your break. This is definitely one of the best places to indulge in the finer things in life.

And of course, no trip to Las Vegas is complete without some sightseeing walks down the Strip to take in the unique vistas. With neon lights, quirky architecture and more than a few iconic landmarks, the bright lights of Las Vegas will put a spell on you.

Venture into the desert

For a completely different kind of thrill, head outside city limits to discover otherworldly landscapes. This subtropical hot desert climate is home to some truly incredible sights, including one of the seven wonders of the world…

It’s well worth doing a day trip to see the jaw-dropping Grand Canyon. Whether you hike, bike, drive or even opt for a mule ride, there are so many ways to take in the Grand Canyon views. This is a real bucket list trip and is certainly not to be missed.

There are plenty of other options if you want to see more of the surrounding area too. Take a tour of architectural wonder Hoover Dam, enjoy a day out on the waters of Lake Mead or experience the magic of the night sky with a stargazing trip to Death Valley National Park.
