Dublin’s Ashling Hotel Triumphs at Irish Hotel Awards

Dublin’s Ashling Hotel triumphed at the recent Irish Hotel Awards, receiving top prizes for individual team members and the hotel’s overall social media platform.

Receiving four awards at this year’s ceremony, it has been another fantastic year for the iconic Dublin hotel based in Dublin 8, near Heuston Station and the Phoenix Park and numerous other landmarks in the capital.

Staff and teams at the hotel received 10 nominations across a host of categories at the annual awards ceremony, which recognises and rewards excellence in hospitality and services across Ireland.

The Irish Hotel Awards are the only awards programme that takes an all-Ireland approach to working with the hospitality industry which makes the multiple wins an even greater accomplishment.

Of the10 nominations the hotel received, they emerged winners across four categories:

Ashling Hotel – Social Media Marketing Winner Leinster 2024

Ciara Barry – National Marketing Manager of the Year 2024

Shannon Marry – National Guest Relations Manager of the Year 2024

Deanna Frak – National Human Resources Manager of the Year 2024

Ronan Walsh, Managing Director of Ashling Hotel, said: “It really is quite humbling when you hear one of your colleagues being announced as a national winner. It generates great pride and belief that we are a leading light in the hospitality industry and of course, it is a huge recognition for the individual managers involved. Sincere thanks to the team in the Ashling and to all our guests & patrons who make all this possible.’

“At the Ashling we strive to be innovative and forward thinking in our approach to hospitality. This year we were delighted to be the first Hotel in the city to offer a full Sensory bedroom for families with a loved one with a Neurodiverse condition or Autism. All families should be able to enjoy a relaxing visit to Dublin and a wonderful stay in a luxurious Hotel, Ronan went on to say.

“The full refurbishment of our Restaurant, Bar and Reception area is now complete and is proving very popular. The new Chesterfield Brasserie is now open, a triumph in itself & a commitment from the Ashling Hotel when the city has seen a plethora of restaurant closures. We fully expect that the Brasserie will be next on the list for accolades as people enjoy the wonderful menu our Chef team have devised.”
