The head of daa – the airport operator which runs both Dublin and Cork airports – has said it remains focused on achieving its net zero emissions targets.
Kenny Jacobs – daa chief executive – was speaking after the publication of daa’s first-half financial results, which showed it grew passenger numbers, revenues and profits across both Dublin and Cork airports.
Mr Jacobs said: “We remain focused on delivering our environmental sustainability strategy and on our commitment to reducing carbon emissions in line with the Climate Action Plan while supporting the aviation industry’s broader goal of achieving Net Zero by 2050.”
