BA Strengthens European Connectivity to South America

British Airways has announced a further option for people looking to fly to South America via the UK or Ireland.

The airline has confirmed it is expanding its codeshare agreement with LATAM Airlines, offering greater choice and connectivity to customers travelling to 14 destinations across Brazil via São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, all in a single booking.

As part of the expansion, 20 routes are now available as codeshare options when travelling from London Heathrow. These include 19 domestic routes and one international route.

From October 27, British Airways will also be increasing services between London Heathrow and São Paulo from 7 to 10 frequencies per week for the Winter 2024 season.

Meanwhile, BA has also announced the expansion of its codeshare agreement with Indian low coast airline IndiGo, which will improve connectivity between the UK, the rest of Europe, North America and 18 destinations in India.
