Stansted Express to Divert to Stratford Due to Liverpool Street Station Christmas Closure

The popular Stansted Express rail link – which is heavily used by Ryanair customers flying from Ireland to London, and which connects Stansted Airport to central London – will be diverted over the Christmas period.

Liverpool Street railway station, which is the busiest rail hub in the UK, will be closed for 8 days over the festive season, with Network Rail shutting it down for essential works.

The closing dates will cover Christmas Day to January 2.

The Stansted Express service, which uses Liverpool Street as its London terminus, will be diverted via Stratford, which will be its new temporary terminus in London.
