Preparations for the 2013 Travel Trade Family Fun Day, which takes place on Sunday 1st September at ALSAA sports grounds, Dublin Airport, are now well underway and several companies have already signed up as sponsors of the event. Funds raised will go towards helping Pieta House and the Make a Wish Foundation.
The Travel Trade Family Fun Day Helping Hand Fund will also see two smaller charities, Cheeverstown House and Footsteps for Alex, receive much needed funds. Signing on as a sponsor could not be easier – just speak to a member of the committee.
Along with sponsors, volunteers are also a huge part of the day and last year they were integral to ensuring the success of the event. Volunteers are desperately needed for this year’s event – everything from setting up games, to directing traffic, to the eagerly anticipated under-fives egg and spoon race.
