Banyan Group Expands Heritage Collection with Renamed Marrakech Hotel

Singapore-headquartered international luxury hotel group Banyan Group has announced that its Angsana Riads Marrakech hotel, in Morocco, will now operate under the Group’s new Heritage Collection.

The property has also been renamed the The Angsana Heritage Collection, Marrakech Riads.

The Angsana Heritage Collection, Marrakech Riads joins Hacienda Xcanatun in Mérida, Mexico, to become the second property in this Collection.

According to Banyan Group: Angsana Heritage Collection is a group of unique boutique properties in breathtaking destinations. Each distinct location shines a light on the local area’s rich cultural histories and age-old traditions to bring forth endless stories, authentic immersive experiences, and captivating connections.”

Angsana has a zero plastic use policy, in which only glass supplies are used. The bath and shower essentials are made in Morocco by Moroccans and are created from eco-friendly ingredients – including the packaging of the products.

The on-property restaurant produces 100% Moroccan cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the local cuisine. The restaurant makes a conscious effort to provide guests with locally sourced organic ingredients using eco-friendly systems.
