Travel Centres’ seventh Owners/Managers Conference, to be held at the Clarion Hotel, IFSC, Dublin next Tuesday (13th September) will include presentations from the Commission for Aviation Regulation, Micros and Praxis Now.
Delegates will also hear from Ireland’s latest athletics hero, Gerry Duffy, who is no stranger to the Irish travel industry, having worked for many years as sales manager for Accident & General. An author, motivational speaker and fitness instructor, Gerry’s sporting CV is filled with mind-boggling accomplishments such as running 32 marathons in 32 days around Ireland, as well as completing and winning the inaugural UK DECA Enduroman Event in 2011 – a 10-day sporting challenge that has been acknowledged as ‘The Toughest 10-Day Endurance Challenge in the World’.
Gerry’s first book, ‘Who Dares, Runs’ entered the Best Sellers list in Ireland within six weeks of its release this summer – and he will be signing copies at the conference.
