MSC Cruises Significantly Enhances Family and Kids’ Club Offerings

MSC Cruises has announced improvements and enhancements to its family-focused offerings – including extended kids’ club openings, more family entertainment and a new dedicated baby care service for children as young as 6 months.

Brand-new activities and services this summer include:

Extended services for babies from six months and up: For the first time, MSC Cruises will offer a dedicated baby care service for babies as young as six months old. Previously, the service could only cater those aged 1 or over. The extended service gives parents the freedom to enjoy the ship, safe in the knowledge that their children are being cared for by dedicated and highly trained staff. The services are offered in collaboration with Chicco® – a long-term MSC Cruises partner and means all youth staff on board the ships are prepared to meet all the needs of babies aged between six months and 2 years.

Doremiland Open House and Party: Parents who still want to spend some quality time with their kids on board in the kids club, now have the opportunity to do so. Each day a time slot will be reserved when all Doremiland areas will be open. There will also be a big family party for parents and kids to play together once a cruise.

New MSC Original Family Game Shows: Among the most popular activities for families are MSC original or branded game shows in which all children are main stars but can challenge their parents as well. After the success of MasterChef at Sea Juniors, Break the Wall and MSC Dance Crew, 2 new family game shows are now available as part of the family program: “World Quest” a geography-based trivia game and “Caravaggio”, a spy game show dedicated to art.

Extended Club Hours for teenagers ages 12-17: There’s now extended the club hours for young guests aged 12 to 17, ensuring they have even more fun during their cruise and can enjoy the club every at sea days from 10am to 1pm and from 3pm to midnight and every port day from 3pm to midnight.

Guinness World Record activities for families now available on multiple ships: After the successful trials of Guinness World Record activities on board selected ships, the programme will now be extended to more ships. Can you pick out the tallest, the lowest, the biggest or the strongest or are you just good at guessing? Families will have the chance to win prizes in the ultimate family record-breaking quiz show. Now available on: MSC World Europa, MSC Euribia, MSC Seascape, MSC Seashore, MSC Magnifica, MSC Divina, MSC Meraviglia, MSC Virtuosa and MSC Grandiosa.

A brand new MSC Foundation Day: Families will now have the opportunity every day to take part in exclusive children’s activities carried out in collaboration with the MSC Foundation and its long-term partners, to learn more about sustainability initiatives. This includes one hour of activities each day dedicated to important environmental topics, in which children will be able to learn, create and express themselves according to their interests.
