Irish Ferries saw its revenues grow by 12%, year-on-year, during the first four months of this year, new figures from parent group Irish Continental Group show.
The group’s latest trading update covers the period from the beginning of January to May 4.
Over that timeframe, Irish Ferries carried 153,200 cars – 21.2% ahead of the same period last year.
Total revenues amounted to €119.7m, which was 12% up year-on-year.
On a group-wide basis, Irish Continental Group – which also owns the Eucon freight business and container terminals in Dublin and Belfast – saw an 8.3% rise in revenue to €177m and a €2m lowering in debt.
