Lufthansa Cabin Crew Strikes to Impact 120,000 Passengers with Cancelled Flights

Lufthansa has said approximately 120,000 passengers will be affected due to it having to cancel around 1,000 flights across its European route network due to a 2-day cabin crew strike over pay conditions.

The strike will affect Lufthansa routes to many major European destinations – including Dublin – today and tomorrow with departures and arrivals at Frankfurt and Munich to be especially impacted.

It is understood that 4 Frankfurt-Dublin rotational flights will be cancelled as a result of the strike action.

Lufthansa said it was having to adjust its flight programme for Tuesday and Wednesday and has been re-booking affected passengers.

“This process has the highest priority for us, and is still ongoing,” the airline said.
