Ryanair carried 11.1 million passengers across its route network during February, according to latest monthly traffic statistics from the airline.
The February figure marked a 5% increase on the corresponding month last year.
On a rolling 12-month basis, Ryanair carried 182.6 million passengers up to the end of last month; 9% higher on a like-for-like reading.
Load factor – which measures how full planes are – was unchanged, at 92%, for February 2024. Last month, Ryanair operated more than 63,000 flights. However, 800 scheduled flights were cancelled due to the ongoing Israel/Gaza conflict.
Ryanair said, last week, that it will be forced to cut flight frequencies on certain routes this summer due to the delay in the delivery of new planes from Boeing. This, in turn, will mean the airline will carry around 5 million fewer passengers, than planned, in its next financial year.
