The Holiday World Show Dublin returns to the RDS Simmonscourt Arena from January 26-28 inclusive.
It is the only show where attendees can meet more than 1,000 travel professionals from 50 countries face to face to plan their dream holiday and take advantage of show-only specials and deals.
Angela Walsh, President of the Irish Travel Agents Association said: “As residents of an island state we are adventurers by nature. Travel is an integral part of our history and development as a nation. It is important to our economy. Ireland travels more per head of population than any other country in the world. Travel broadens the mind. Many years ago, Mark Twain wrote ‘Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindness’ and this applies now more than ever. (You can find out more about Mark Twain’s hometown at the US Pavilion.)”
Maria Hourican, CEO of the Holiday World Show said: “One of the fascinating things about running our annual show has been watching it grow and evolve over the years. In a digital age, when time is short, spending your time wisely is important. What better than a tour around the stands at the Show, getting answers to the questions that your smartphone will not provide and meeting people face to face. Travel professionals who come to exhibit in Dublin say we have the most knowledgeable and enthusiastic people in Europe when it comes to travel. Our exhibitors go home happy each year, as we know from the satisfaction rating in our engagement with them when the show ends. Our visitors go home happy too, judging by the number of holiday bookings arising from the show.”
