Rock superstar Sting has been confirmed as headline act at this year’s New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner at Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai.
He follows in the footsteps of Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams in the past two years.
Open since September 2008, The Palm is the first entertainment resort destination in Dubai, Atlantis.
It is a unique ocean-themed resort featuring a variety of marine and entertainment attractions, as well as 22 hectares of waterpark amusement at Atlantis Aquaventure, all within a 46-hectare site.
It is home to one of the biggest waterparks in the world and one of the largest open-air marine habitats, with more than 65,000 marine animals in lagoons and displays including The Lost Chambers Aquarium, a maze of underwater corridors and passageways providing a journey through ancient Atlantis.
Timothy Kelly, Executive Vice President and Managing Director, Atlantis Dubai, said: “With an iconic presence worldwide and known as a true superstar, we are incredibly excited to welcome Sting as our headline act this year. Our New Year’s Eve Gala Dinners have earned a notable reputation in the region, and with Sting joining the ranks of Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue, we anticipate another extraordinary milestone in 2023. We look forward to giving our guests one of the most memorable evenings of their lives as we ring in the new year.”
