Luxury beachfront pool villa resort, The Shore at Katathani has been crowned ‘Number One Hotel in Phuket’ following its official opening just nine months ago. The accolade is based solely on the millions of reviews and opinions from travellers on the travel guide website Tripadvisor.com. World travellers gave The Shore at Katathani its top place in the Phuket rankings despite the competition from luxury hotels across the island.

The Tripadvisor recognition follows the ‘Asia Pacific Hotel Award’ that Naga Concepts (the firm that designed The Shore at Katathani) was awarded earlier this year in the category of the ‘Best Hotel Construction and Design’ in
Asia Pacific.
Since the opening of The Shore at Katathani in November 2010, new developments have included the construction of 11 additional villas; a new dedicated wedding website, www.wedding.katathani.com, and the purchase of its very own luxury yacht offering guests private sightseeing tours of Phuket and the nearby islands.
