UK yacht charter broker HELM has reported a surge in customer enquiries for summer bookings.
The London-based company offers curated yacht charters across worldwide destinations, but has a particular expertise in Mediterranean catamaran charters.
HELM said it saw an exponential rise in clientele from the US last summer, with the American market now accounting for almost a third of its clients.
HELM co-founder Peter Harrison said: “After 2022’s incredible summer for charter bookings we were anticipating a slow downturn this year, however, it has picked up again and since May we’ve been busier than ever with clients looking for a last-minute getaway in the med.
“Just this [last] weekend we’ve had over 100 enquiries. And with more yachts available than last year, we’re seeing some crazy discounts on yachts with owner’s keen to get bookings for the season”.
