Turkish Airlines Posts Record May Passenger Levels

Turkish Airlines carried 7.4 million passengers last month; representing a record May for the carrier.

The number also equated to a 16% year-on-year increase.

Total load factor – which measures actual seats filled, or how full a plane is, rather than just ticket sales – came in at just shy of 82% for the month.

Turkish Airline said its international passenger – excluding domestic routes – increased by over 22% to 1.9 million.
