TUI Solidifies Finances and Sees Bookings Strengthen

Holiday giant TUI has said it has seen strong booking levels for the summer 2023 season, with customer demand high across all of its markets.

The company said its recent pre-summer booking levels have been above pre-pandemic sales seen at the same period in 2019, before Covid derailed tourism and everyday life, in general.

TUI has also solidified its financial situation through the successful extension of its credit repayment deadlines by another two years. It has €2.7bn in credit which has a new maturation date of July 2026, instead of next year.
