Beaches & Coves of Salou
All year round Salou is synonymous with sun, beach, rest and relaxation. The capital of the Costa Daurada is internationally known for the beauty of its beaches, which have very diverse characteristics. Wide areas of fine, soft sand abound, and shallow shores, ideal for family bathing, where you can enjoy a calm and relaxing natural space.
After a refreshing and healthy bath and sunbathing, we can practice kayaking, sailing and all kinds of water sports, or have fun at PortAventura World or Ferrari Land. In the afternoon, we can enjoy walking along the Coastal Path and Jaume I Promenade, admiring the sunset from any of the more than 40 stunning viewpoints. Enjoy also with our night Cybernetic Fountain with an impressive spectacle of water, light and music.
Salou Viewpoints Route
The Viewpoints Salou Route is a nature tourism proposal that the Salou Tourist Board has developed so that residents and visitors can get to know the municipality’s coastline, through various observation points distributed along the Coastal Path, with sea views and surrounded by the typical Mediterranean landscape. Salou has forty viewpoints, from which you can enjoy views of the coastline of great beauty and uniqueness. Some of these viewpoints or observation points are integrated into the 25 beaches and coves of the village.

The Ornamental Fountains are an impressive spectacle of water, light and music. The fountains were inaugurated in 2007, are made up of 1,000 jets and geysers, and run along the Jaume I Promenade, from the Luminous Fountain to the Cybernetic Fountain. Enjoy this great spectacle!
