easyJet is to add extra flights to its Amsterdam and Geneva routes from Belfast International Airport. There will be six more flights each week to Amsterdam, bringing the total to 20, and two additional flights to Geneva will increase the weekly total to 14.
The extra flights to Amsterdam will increase from daily to nine per week from 2nd September (extra Monday and Friday), and increase to 10 flights per week with an additional Sunday flight added from 6th November, fares from £23.99, one way including taxes.
An extra Sunday flight to Geneva will start from 11th December, with fares from £26.99, one way including taxes.
Ali Gayward, easyJet Commercial Manager, said: “The Belfast to Amsterdam route has been a great success since we launched it in January 2001. “The city has always been a big attraction for business people and holidaymakers going on short breaks or longer stays, and there has also been significant business and tourism traffic from the Netherlands into Northern Ireland.
“Our Geneva service has always been a firm favourite with Northern Ireland skiers and snowboarders. Flight times are great, so people can travel in the morning and be skiing down the slopes in the afternoon. Around 40 ski centres are under an hour away from Geneva Airport, including popular resorts such as Chamonix, Verbier, Val d’Isere, Les Arcs and Morzine.”
